Wood protector | Tikkurila Valtti Vinha
Valtti Vinha offers the perfect protection, is moisture-regulating, has extremely good adhesive properties and is very elastic. Beautifully opaque finish but leaves the woodgrain visible.

Opaque semi-matte alkyd acrylate woodstain for use on wooden surfaces both new and previously treated with Valtti Vinha or a transparent finish. Also suitable for surfaces that have already been primed. Protects the wood from the elements. Extremely good adhesion, low maintenance for up to 10 years. Very good elasticity, meaning it copes with the natural expansion and contraction of the wood. Will not crack or flake off. Moisture-regulating (allows moisture to escape from the wood but not enter it).

Prior to painting and for annual maintenance, we recommend Finncleaner. As a primer, we recommend the Valtti Primer.
Use:
Walls, frames, doors, logs, fencing, cladding, cornices, sheds, etc. Not suitable for flooring. For both sawn and planed wood and impregnated wood.
Preparation:
Surface must be clean, dry, free of dirt, grease, oil and wax. Temperature > 5ºC. Humidity < 80% Start by washing down with Finncleaner or Super Clean, with Mould Removal if mould is present, in line with instructions for use. Rinse with water, allow to dry. Remove all loose parts and gently sand. Treat new and bare wood with Valtti Base first. Treat knots in the wood with Valtti Knotting to discolouration. Treat nail heads with Rostex Metal Primer. Sand glossy surfaces until matte prior to treatment.
Instructions for use:
Prior to use, stir well, apply 2 coats to new surfaces to be treated, 1 or 2 coats for maintenance depending on surface condition. 2 to 3 coats for impregnated wood. Apply amply to rough parts.
Opacity: Planed wood 8-10 m2/ltr. Roughly sawn wood 4-6 m2/ltr. Opacity also depends on substrate, porosity, humidity. Drying time: At approx. 23 ºC and 50% humidity, dry after 1 hour.
Can be painted over after 2-4 hours. Cleaning tools and diluting: Water

Sinds 2020 in totaal al 4 Campingpods en een Finse Kota laten leveren door Ticra met grote tevredenheid. Daarom gaan er deze winter nog een CampingPod en een Finse Kota geleverd worden. De prijs kwaliteit verhouding is gewoon goed en ik wordt altijd deskundig geholpen en denken goed mee met jou en je type gast. Een groot pluspunt vind ik de Showtuin waar je in Pods of Kota goed kunt ervaren wat je wel en niet wil.

Wat een fijn bedrijf is Ticra! Vriendelijke kennismaking in de showroom, uitgebreide informatie over de door ons gewenste barrelsauna ontvangen. Levering en installatie helemaal volgens afspraak. Een klein probleempje met de thermostaat is snel en goed opgelost, waarna we zelfs nog een kleine attentie ontvingen voor het ongemak. Wij raden Ticra zeker aan!
