Water quality test strips
Easily check the quality of the water in your hot tub with these test strips.
These test strips test multiple values, specifically:
- total chlorine content
- free chlorine
- bromine
- pH
- total alkalinity
- total hardness
- cyanuric acid
It is important to keep the hot tub water clean and the pH value between 7.2 and 7.6. When the reading is above 7.6, the chlorine in your hot tub will not work as well.

Manual
- Dip an AquaKristal test strip in the water of your hot tub for about two seconds
- Remove the test strip from the water and then wait 30 seconds
- Then place the test strip on the back of the package. You’ll then be able to check the values in the water against the colour chart.
