The heating time depends on the size of the hot tub, the outdoor temperature, the type of wood, and the cover used.
During heating, both the heater and the hot tub must be filled with water above the drain hose to ensure proper circulation; otherwise, the heater may be damaged. The wood stove has a double-walled design. Inside the double wall are an inlet hose (bottom) and an outlet hose (top), through which the hot tub water flows automatically. Because warm water rises (thermosyphon effect), the heated water circulates naturally through the rest of the tub. The hot tub with external heater is therefore heated entirely by natural circulation, without a pump. Because the heater is positioned outside the tub, you also benefit from extra space inside the hot tub.
