This heater is fully resistant to chlorine because it is made entirely of stainless steel. With a standard hot tub and an aluminum heater, you can go a maximum of two days without refreshing the water. By adding chlorine, you can enjoy your hot tub for up to two weeks without changing the water. The great advantage of the stainless steel heater is that it allows you to benefit even more from adding an external filter. With the combination of chlorine and a filtration system, you can extend water use to as much as two months without replacing it.

The heating time depends on the size of the hot tub, outdoor temperature, type of wood, and the cover used.
During heating, both the heater and the hot tub must be filled with water above the drainage hose to ensure proper circulation. Otherwise, the heater may become damaged. The wood stove is double-walled, containing an inlet hose (bottom) and an outlet hose (top), through which the water naturally flows. As heat rises (capillary action), the warmed water circulates back into the rest of the hot tub. The hot tub with an external heater is therefore heated entirely by natural circulation without a pump. Because the heater is located outside the tub, you have extra space inside the hot tub.
